Trojan:Win32/Powessere.Alreg Wrecking Havoc in Your PC is Really Annoying
Trojan:Win32/Powessere.Alreg is a notorious trojan horse that can arouse irritating alert pop-up on the targeted computers. It may try to look innocent or be bundled with something else to penetrate into users' systems. One of its victims tells:
"I have repeatedly used Microsoft Essentials to scan my system (both quick and full scans) and the program has repeatedly reported that my system has the following malware installed, Trojan:Win32/Powessere.Alreg, and highly recommends that the it be removed by Microsoft Essentials...Obviously, Microsoft Essentials is not removing the file, or it is getting reinstalled every time I reboot the computer. I have attempted to find a Startup program that might be doing this, to no avail."
